Is it just us, or does it seem like there’s a wedding just about every weekend now? Well, wedding season is clearly upon us, and not only is this is great news for the happy couples, but it’s also a joy for us here at Beautique. We just love the elegance and creativity that these events bring!
Weddings mean every hair must be in place. It’s a big day for a stylist! Er, we mean bride. It doesn’t matter if you’re always a bridesmaid, or if it’s now your turn down the aisle, everything – including hair – has to come together just right.

Classic Updo Here’s an oldie, but goody. Seriously, can you ever go wrong with the classic updo? This look has withstood the test of time, and women from all backgrounds have called on this style for their weddings, proms, and all other special occasions. It’s simple. It’s chic. And it’s still ultra romantic. (Check out our modern event updo in our gallery.)
Old Hollywood Glam The dramatic old Hollywood wave will always have a place in wedding hair. The look is soft, as opposed to some of the harshness you might notice with other wedding styles. And it’s polished to perfection without appearing heavy. If glamour is what you want, glamour is what you’ll get. This ‘do is sure to make a superstar out of any woman.
Short We have to be honest, short wedding styles that deviate from your regular, everyday look can be incredibly hard to find. But when it works, it can be absolutely stunning. Don’t be afraid to get creative with short hair. Create rockstar pompadours, soft finger waves, or simply wear your natural cropped top freshly cut and styled above and beyond the norm.
Slick This style could very well be called the classic low ’do; but slick works good enough for us. It doesn’t get any more clean than this. Yes, anyone can do this look themselves. But there’s just something about it that makes it obviously professional, well thought out, and still ethereal.
